Sashimi Bowl with Miso Soy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

Serving size: 2 adults + 2 kids

1 lb of sushi grade sashimi, thinly sliced
1 avocado, sliced
1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
1 nori sheet, cut into thin strips
1/2 scallions, thinly chopped

Sauce:
2 tbsp white miso paste
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

1. Mix together the sauce ingredients to create the miso soy sauce to serve with the sashimi bowl. 

2. Assemble the bowl by first making a bed of cooked sushi rice then placing the sashimi slices, avocado and cucumbers on top. 

3. Sprinkle some sesame seeds, thinly chopped scallions and nori sheet strips and serve with miso soup!
