
Ingredients:
1 lbs of beef (I used Costco thinly sliced beef loin or you can use stew meat, chuck or round steak)
2 cups of dried seaweed
6 cups of water
2 tbsp of neutral oil
2 tbsp of minced garlic
1 tbsp of sesame oil
salt + pepper to taste
optional: 3 seafood stock coins
Directions:
1. Soak 2 cups of dried seaweed in cold water for 10-15 minutes.
2. Press the “SAUTE” mode on your IP and add 2 tbsp of neutral oil.
3. Cut your meat into smaller pieces and add to the IP. Saute for 2-3 minutes until browned on the outside.
4. Drain all the water from the soaked seaweed and cut into smaller pieces using a kitchen scissor if needed. Add the seaweed to the IP.
5. Add 3 tbsp of soy sauce for soup and 2 tbsp of minced garlic. Saute everything together for 2 minutes.
6. Add 6 cups of water and 3 seafood stock coins (optional.) Close the lid and cook on “SOUP” function for 20 minutes.
7. When done, QR. Drizzle 1 tbsp of sesame oil and salt and pepper to taste. Serve over a bowl of rice.
